Abstract
The advent of recombinant DNA technology has revolutionized the fields of medicine and biotechnology, providing powerful tools for the development of novel vaccines and therapeutic agents. Among the various platforms employed for recombinant protein expression, plasmid vectors have emerged as a cornerstone due to their versatility, ease of manipulation, and cost-effectiveness. Plasmids, extrachromosomal circular DNA molecules capable of autonomous replication within a host cell, can be engineered to carry and express genes encoding specific proteins of interest.
